shows the current cash amount you have to play with as well as what
kind of hand you've been dealt.

been dealt. In order to hold a card you have to click on it. You'll
know it's been selected when it changes colors. Upon clicking the
"draw" button the other cards are tossed and you get dealt

The box to the bottom left of the applet has two buttons "Draw/Deal"
and "Switch Game". If the "Draw" button is selected
then you in the first round of dealing and can highlight the cards
you wish to keep in order to make the best possible hand. When you

or Better" video poker.
In the bottom right hand portion of the applet you'll see the Odds
Analysis panel. You use this feature after you've been dealt a hand.
You can select different cards to hold and analyze your odds with
different cards in your hand. There are two very important parts
which are the "Payout/Number of Hands" part and the "Winning
Hands / Num Hands". The "Payout / Number of Hands"
shows the total payout amount of all possible hands you could've
been dealt with the cards you decided to hold. The part is the "Winning
Hands / Num Hands" which shows how many possible hands that
you could have been dealt are winners of the total possible hands.
Payout Analysis Breakdown shows all the possible hands you could
get while holding the card(s) you are holding and how many of each
winning hand are in that set. It also does the math for you and
shows you the total payout for each type of hand. The sum of these
amounts is the same as the "Payout" part of the "Payout
/ number of Hands" figure.
